How the calculator works

Liquid–liquid

Momentum equation of the cylindrical mixing chamber (Sokolov–Zinger) with velocity coefficients of nozzle, chamber, diffuser and suction inlet.

Gas–gas, steam

Gas-dynamic functions λ, π(λ), q(λ); Laval nozzle, critical suction regime, diffuser with η = 0.8.

Liquid–gas and gas–solids
